Morando is a renowned winery located in the municipality of Costigliole d'Asti:
For over a century, we have been producing a wide range of high-quality bottled products, the result of our passion and deep connection to the surrounding territory.
Our winery is located in the municipality of Costigliole d'Asti, in an area designated as a UNESCO Heritage Site historically dedicated to the production of Asti and Moscato d'Asti wines.
Our history has very ancient origins dating back over a century: it was in the late 19th century that our winery took its first steps from the municipalities of Calosso and Costigliole d'Asti. Today, it is a reference point in the region for the production and packaging of local and national bottled wines, including DOCG, DOC, and IGT, sparkling wines, and wine-based flavoured beverages.
Thanks to our long-standing experience, we have carved out a prominent role in the national wine market. From a small artisanal winery deeply rooted in the territory, we have managed to expand and transform into a technologically advanced winery while still maintaining our strong traditional imprint.
Our activity is based on the hills that surround the provinces of Asti, Cuneo, and Alessandria, an area renowned worldwide for the production of Morando wines.
We primarily engage in retail sales of local wines in Italy and abroad, including those with DOCG, DOC, and IGT designations, as well as sparkling wines and aromatic wine-based beverages. Every year, we produce approximately 55 million bottles that can be found in major national supermarket chains.
As for the foreign market, our exports have grown by 20%, with significant presence in major markets such as the United States, China, the Russian Federation, South Korea, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
Since August 2008, we have obtained all the quality certificates ISO 9001, BRC, and IFS.
